Who I work with best
I'm happy to say up front who I can help most. It saves everyone time, and it means the students I do work with get my full attention.
A good fit
- You're already doing well and want to do better.
- You're aiming for an A in an honors course, or a 4 or 5 on an AP® exam.
- You do the work, ask questions, and want someone to push your thinking.
- You're comfortable with Algebra 1 skills and ready to build on them.
Probably not the right fit
- Students who need to rebuild arithmetic, pre-algebra, or Algebra 1 skills. A tutor who specializes in foundations will serve you better.
- Students who are in tutoring because someone else decided they should be. Sessions work best when the student wants to be there.
What we'd work on
Get ahead
Preview upcoming units so class feels like a second pass instead of a first look.
Go deeper
Work through the harder problems and the reasoning behind them, not just the steps.
Prepare
Get ready for tests, finals, and AP® exams with problems that match what you'll actually see.
